About PhoeTech

A cross-disciplinary team of engineers bridging the gap between theory and hands-on practice in Cameroon.

Engineering Students Building Real Solutions

Phoenix Technologies (PhoeTech) is a startup cooperative aimed at empowering young engineers — especially those in electrical engineering. We know how important electricity is, how useful electrical devices are, and how crucial it is that capable engineers exist in this domain.

PhoeTech is a group of engineering students coming together to share ideas and develop projects that promote creative and innovative thinking — directly addressing the wide gap between theory and practical experience that engineering students commonly face.

We are a team of critical thinkers from different engineering disciplines who share a common goal. This cross-disciplinary approach allows us to provide uniquely customised solutions to our clients' needs.

Mission & Vision

🚀

Our Mission

Provide a platform for engineers from different disciplines to share ideas, collaborate, and come up with solutions to common local problems — and possibly global ones.

🌍

Our Vision

Providing customised engineering solutions to local problems and enabling the next generation of engineers to innovate and do more.

Engineering Disciplines

Our strength comes from combining knowledge across five core engineering fields to deliver solutions no single discipline could achieve alone.

Electrical & Power Engineering

Power distribution, wiring, circuit design, transformers, and everything that brings electricity safely from source to socket.

🔌

Electronic Engineering

PCB design, embedded systems, microcontrollers, signal processing, and custom electronic device development.

☀️

Renewable Energy Engineering

Solar systems, battery storage, off-grid setups, and sustainable energy solutions tailored to the local context.

🌐

Network Engineering

LAN/WAN setup, internet infrastructure, Starlink and satellite installations, and network security configurations.

🤖

Robotics

Automation systems, robotic prototypes, motor control, and intelligent machines built for real-world applications.

Closing the Hardware Gap

Cameroon's tech ecosystem has made notable strides in recent years, particularly in software engineering. However, hardware development still lags behind. PhoeTech exists to help close this gap by accelerating practical hardware innovation and solutions.
